3MGD formed in São Paulo in 2006, originally called 3 Marias. The group includes Roberta Carvalho on vocals, André Abujamra on guitar and vocals, and Pedro Gaspar on bass and vocals. They released their debut album '3 Marias' the following year.
Other tracks like 'Do Lado da Chama' and 'Fica Comigo' show their blend of ethereal harmonies and more grounded instrumentation.
Later albums like 'Deixa Entrar o Sol' (2010) and 'Incêndio' (2013) continued their development. The band's sound often leans toward the atmospheric, with Carvalho's voice floating over Abujamra's guitar work and Gaspar's bass lines.
