3xKrazy was a Los Angeles hip-hop trio active in the early 2000s, made up of rappers Skeelow and L-Swift with DJ P-Nut. They put out their debut single "Sickkaluffa" in 2003, which became their calling card. The track's rhythm and attitude caught on locally, giving the group a foothold.
They followed with albums like "Mash Up" in 2004, "Xtra Krazy" in 2006, and "Mad Libs" in 2008. Skeelow handled most of the writing, L-Swift brought energy on stage, and P-Nut built the beats. Their lyrics sometimes drew criticism for being explicit, but they kept to their own style.
Outside the group, Skeelow worked on solo material, and L-Swift and DJ P-Nut took on other production and collaboration gigs. The trio's run was relatively brief, but "Sickkaluffa" remains the track most people remember.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
