3Zero3 came out of Salvador, Brazil, with Nill on vocals, Paraguaçu on guitar, Eder on bass, and Biro on drums. They put out their first album, 'Vem Quente que Eu Estou Fervendo,' in 1997. A song like 'Então Vem' gives a sense of their mix of funk and pop with some Afro-Brazilian rhythms underneath.
Their lyrics sometimes touched on social issues, which got them attention both good and bad. They kept putting out records through the 2000s, including '3Zero3' in 1999 and 'Bicho Solto' in 2007, working in different sounds without losing that core groove.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
