4 Elementos formed in Kingston, Jamaica in the late 1990s with founding members Anthony "Kun" Davis, Daniel "Cisse" Bennett, and Rohan "Tetra" Francis. Their debut single "Cypher #1 (Reggae Cypher)" came out in 2001 and became their breakthrough track.
Their discography includes albums like The Chosen Few from 2004, Gullyroot Theory from 2008, and Unity from 2016. The current lineup adds Tyrone "Nois" Perry on drums and Kevin "Bongo Herman" Palmer on percussion to the original three members.
They've worked with other reggae artists including Beres Hammond, Sizzla, and Damian Marley. Their 2020 release Reggae Anthology compiled material from their career.
