4 Yüz formed in Istanbul in 2013 as a quartet with Emirhan Karabey, Kerem Kabadayı, Oğuzhan Berk Güney, and Yunus Emre Zengin. They worked in a mix of pop, hip-hop, and R&B, and their song 'Kız Kıza' from 2014 became a flashpoint for debate over its portrayal of same-sex relationships.
Their debut album '4 Yüz' arrived in 2015, and they kept releasing singles like 'SaLLa' and 'Çat Pat' that became part of their set.
They put out more albums like 'Yüzde Yüz' and 'Manifest,' and their songs 'Dandini' and 'Vah Vah Vah' kept their sound in rotation. The group's lineup stayed the same through those years, with Karabey on vocals, Kabadayı on guitar and production, Güney on bass, and Zengin on drums.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
