40 Gramos formed in Medellín in 2016, with Juan Pablo Isaza on vocals and guitar, Nicolás Pérez on bass, and Julián Salazar on drums. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2018, and songs like 'Aliens' got attention for mixing rock with pop and electronic touches.
After Salazar left in 2019, Felipe Londoño joined on guitar. They put out a second album called 'Horizonte' in 2021. Their setlist includes tracks like 'Ando buscando' and 'Arrecho', which lean into alternative rock with some Latin influences.
They've played shows around Colombia and other parts of Latin America, sometimes opening for bigger acts. The current lineup has Isaza, Pérez, Londoño, and drummer Julián Agudelo.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
