Archive material and source history
The band 43 formed in Monterrey, Mexico, in 2002. They had four members: León Larregui, Sergio Acosta, Enrique Rangel, and Rodrigo Guardiola. In 2005, they released their debut album 'Sobrio,' which included the song 'Tóxico.'
The band faced criticism and a lawsuit from a woman who claimed the song was based on her relationship with Larregui, though 43 denied this. They released more albums like 'Simplesmente' in 2007 and 'Cuatro Tres' in 2010.
In 2013, Larregui left the band, followed by Acosta and Rangel, leaving Guardiola as the only original member. After the breakup, Larregui went solo, while Acosta and Rangel started a new band called No Somos Marineros. Guardiola continued using the 43 name, but the group didn't reach its earlier level of success.
