46itchy was a Los Angeles alternative rock band that formed in the late 1990s with Adam Elmwood on vocals and guitar, Aaron Goss on bass, Michael Burke on drums, and Chris Moore on keyboards. They released their self-titled debut album in 1999, which included the track 'Karate Girl' that got significant alternative radio and MTV airplay that year.
While 'Karate Girl' became their most recognizable song, their catalog included other tracks like 'Always,' 'Bad Day Day,' and 'Bowling Is Go!' They followed up with two more albums: 'The Devolutionary' in 2002 and 'The Abyss' in 2005. Their 2003 single 'Needle' drew some criticism for its subject matter.
The band's sound incorporated elements from different styles, and they maintained a consistent lineup through their recorded output. They stopped releasing new music after 2005.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
