4Life Collective came together in Brooklyn with four members: L, A.N.G.E.L.E.S, 12 O'Clock, and H.E.R. They put out a single called "Uh, Bitch!" in 2016 that got people talking. The song's aggressive tone and lyrics sparked arguments about whether it was misogynistic or actually trying to speak against sexism.
After that, they released two EPs, "The 1st" in 2017 and "The 2nd" in 2018. Their music touched on things like identity and social issues, with a sound that mixed hip-hop beats and soulful melodies. They didn't shy away from topics that made listeners uncomfortable.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
