Archive material and source history
5 Graus formed in Belo Horizonte in 2007 with Samuel Mizrahy and Alexandre Carlo on vocals, Bruno Gouveia on guitar, Daniel Siqueira on bass, and Rafael Castro on drums. Their self-titled debut album came out the following year, and its lead single "Notícia Boa" became a hit in Brazil.
Mizrahy left in 2014 to work solo, and Guilherme Artioli took over as vocalist. The band has put out eight studio albums, including songs like "Síndrome" and "A Estrada '88." They've worked with other Brazilian artists like Paula Fernandes and Thiaguinho.
Their music shifted from pop-rock toward something more reflective over time, but they kept recording. The lineup changes didn't stop them from making new material.
