Archive material and source history
500 Megabytes formed in Fortaleza, Brazil in 1998 with Leonardo on vocals, Gustavo on guitar, Hélio on bass, and Jackson on drums. Their debut album "Com Você" came out in 2000, and that title track became something of an anthem for young listeners at the time.
They released "Guerreiros da Luz" in 2003, an album whose lyrics about social and environmental issues drew some criticism and sparked debates. Hélio left the band in 2005, and Adriano joined on bass. They've put out seven studio albums through 2022, including "Entre Eu e Você," "Revoada," and "Céu e Mar."
