50/50 Twin was a hip-hop duo from Wilmington, North Carolina, formed in 1997 by brothers Antwan "Ant" Lane and Antonio "Tone" Lane. Their debut album 'Thugz: True to the Game' came out in 1998, anchored by the single 'All My Thuggz.' That track, along with others like 'Ballin' is a Habit' and 'Cash Stacka's,' gave them a regional following with its straightforward street narratives.

Ant's arrest and prison sentence in 2000 paused the group's momentum, but Tone kept working on music. When Ant was released in 2005, they reunited for a second album called 'Eastside Riderz.' The following year, Tone was shot and killed. The group's later releases include '50/50 Twin: The Final Chapter' in 2013 and 'Ride to Live, Live to Ride' in 2018.
