5ive was a British boy band put together by Simon Cowell in 1997. The group consisted of Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, Jason "J" Brown, and Abz Love. Their debut single "Slam Dunk (Da Funk)" reached number one in the UK that same year.
They followed that with hits like "When the Lights Go Out," "Got the Feelin'," and "Everybody Get Up." Their first album, simply titled "5ive," came out in 1998. They released three more studio albums: "Invincible" in 1999, "Kingsize" in 2001, and a greatest hits collection in 2006.
Abz Love left the group in 2001. The band briefly reunited in 2006 before disbanding again. One of their songs, "Me And My Brother," appears in their catalog.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
