The band 60 formed in Barcelona in the early 2000s as a six-piece group. Their debut album 'El Camino' came out in 2002. The lineup included Ivan Gálvez on vocals and guitar, Enric Verdaguer on guitar, Marc Torrents on bass, Javi Álvarez on drums, and David Muñoz on keyboards and programming.

They released several albums over the following years, including 'El Niño Guapo' in 2005, 'Descanso Dominical' in 2007, and 'El Mundo Detrás' in 2009. Their song 'Til I Die' became particularly well-known. In 2004, keyboardist David Muñoz died suddenly, but the band continued working.

Their music sometimes stirred discussion, like the 2004 song 'Los Hombres' which addressed topics around masculinity and violence against women. They worked in rock with some electronic and other influences mixed in. Other songs people know include 'Anxiety' and 'Hide'.
