7 Chaves formed in Brazil in the early 2000s, with Lucas Silveira and Felipe Vilela at the core. They were joined by Rafael Rocha, Gabriel Straube, Leandro Magalhães, and Daniel Gralha to complete the lineup. Their self-titled debut came out in 2007, but it was their 2010 album 'MEC AIR' that really caught on. The title track became a radio staple in Brazil.
After that breakthrough, they kept putting out records like 'Vivendo e Aprendendo' in 2012 and 'A Volta ao Mundo em 80 Dias' in 2014. The band's path wasn't entirely smooth, Silveira had a drug possession arrest in 2013 that paused things for a bit, and Straube left in 2016. They regrouped and released 'De Volta ao Começo' in 2018, followed by 'Nada Além' in 2021.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
