70 Vezes 7 formed in São Paulo in 2014 with six musicians: Jota Pê on vocals, Felipe Navas on guitar, Guilherme Lirio on bass, Vini Rosa on keyboards, Lucas Vinicius on drums, and Caio Paiva on percussion. They played pop, rock, and reggae, building a following with live shows.
In 2017, the single 'Melhor Pra Mim' became a hit in Brazil. The band released their self-titled debut album that same year. Bassist Guilherme Lirio left in 2018, replaced by Pedro Altério. They put out two more albums, 'Um Novo Tempo' in 2019 and 'Pra Sempre' in 2021.
Other songs like 'Recomeço,' 'Grandioso Deus,' 'O Nome,' and 'O Vazio' appear among their top tracks. The current lineup remains the six members with Altério on bass.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
