7AM formed in São Paulo in 2010 with Alexandre Carlo on vocals, Pedro Almeida on guitar, Rodrigo Costa on bass, and Thiago Pantaleão on drums. They started playing local clubs and built a following through steady gigging.

Their 2014 single "Luz Na Cidade" became their breakthrough track, capturing something about city nights that connected with listeners. It got them a spot at Rock in Rio that year.

They released their debut album "Luz Nas Trevas" in 2015, followed by "Noturno" in 2017 and "Euphoria" in 2019. In 2019, Rodrigo Costa left the band and was replaced by bassist Danilo Souza.
