A 1990s-formed group whose second album 'With You Forever' found a wider audience.
For a quick sense of them, 'With You Forever' is the obvious start, but 'The Darkest Winter' gives a good feel for their sound.
Their 2001 album 'With You Forever' gave them their most popular track, but their catalog runs deeper than that single. Songs like 'The Darkest Winter' and 'Confession' show the R&B and hip-hop blend they worked with. They also covered Veni Domine's 'Wisdom Calls', which suggests some interesting range.
They formed in 1996 with Kim Dong-wan on vocals, Shin Dong-yup and Choi Sung-bong as rappers, and Lee Se-jin on keyboards. After a mixed-reception debut in 2000, their second album 'With You Forever' connected better the following year. They released five studio albums between 2000 and 2006, including 'Perfect Time' and 'Happenings'.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
