7LIONS formed in 2018 with four members: vocalist and producer Anders Nilsen, guitarist Joakim Karlsson, bassist Johan Lindström, and drummer Niklas Spångberg. They released their breakout single "One More Time" in 2020. Other songs in their catalog include "Born 2 Run," "Emergency," and a cover of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" featuring Porcelain Black.
In 2021, bassist Johan Lindström left the band for personal reasons. The group faced some criticism around that time, with a few voices questioning whether their work borrowed too heavily from other artists. They kept recording through it, putting out singles like "Runaway" and "Scars," and an EP called "The Fire Within" in 2023.
As of the last update, the band's lineup consisted of Nilsen, Karlsson, and Spångberg. Their sound leans into driving beats and melodic hooks, heard on tracks like "One Man Symphony."
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
