The band's lineup included Gustavo Pinheiro on vocals and guitar, Luciano Lamounier on vocals and bass, Rafael Silva on guitar, and José Neto on drums. Their sound mixed samba, reggae, and pop elements. They released two more albums, "Cabeça Dinossauro" in 1999 and "Um Gosto de Sol" in 2003.
8 Sete 9 Quatro had trouble keeping their lineup stable, with members leaving and returning at different times. They developed a loyal following in Brazil before fading from regular activity.
