99 Souls was a collaboration that brought together Destiny's Child and Brandy on a single track. The project came about in 2003 when producers Billy Mann and Jeff Meegan approached the vocal groups with the idea for a soulful ballad.
Their song "The Girl Is Mine (feat. Destiny's Child / Brandy)" came out in 2004. It featured the combined vocals of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, and Brandy Norwood over Mann's lyrics and Meegan's production.
After that initial release, the project continued with a few more tracks over the following decade, including "Can't Stop the Feeling" in 2014 and "Baby Love" the next year.
