Archive material and source history
9Senses formed in São Paulo, Brazil, with Junior Lima on vocals and guitar, Felipe Ribeiro on lead guitar, Henrique Oliveira on drums, Thiago Ricci on bass, and Fábio Sabedotti on keyboards. They released their first album in 2004, followed by records like Crônicas de um Gladiador in 2006 and A Vida É Agora in 2008.
In 2008, the band faced plagiarism accusations over their song Loucos e Santos, which they defended in court. Two years later, Lima left the group, and Gabriel Rodrigues joined as the new vocalist. They kept recording, putting out A Estrada do Destino in 2012 and O Tempo Não Para in 2014.
Their track Relatos de um Gladiador became a notable song for them, blending rock and metal with electronic touches. It's the kind of track that shows what they were doing, guitar riffs, keyboards, and vocals that found an audience in Brazil and beyond.
