A Massachusetts band that's kept the same lineup since forming in 2003.
For a sense of their sound, start with "All Along." It's the one that seems to stick with people.
They took their name from a line in "American Beauty," which tells you something about their sensibility. Songs like "All Along" from their 2013 album "The Wilderness" have a particular staying power with listeners. They've built a catalog that feels consistent, from early tracks like "From Heart And Soul To Pen And Paper" to later albums like "Homestead."
They formed in Amherst in 2003 and started playing local venues. After their debut EP "The Old Suburban Flame" in 2010, they released albums every few years, including "The Wilderness," "Seasons," and "Homestead." They've had the same four members the whole time.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
