A-Lin is a Taiwanese Mandopop band that formed in 2006. Their debut album 'Passenger 319' came out the following year. The group is led by vocalist Huang Li-ling, with Chen Wei-han on guitar, Huang Shao-yong on bass, and Wu Meng-ru on drums.
Their 2015 album won the Golden Melody Award for Best Mandarin Album. That same year, they faced accusations of plagiarism regarding a song called 'Tears of the Times,' which they denied. The band has released seven studio albums in total.
Songs like 'If Heaven Has Compassion' and '#Love' show their approach to emotive ballads. They've also recorded tracks such as 'A Kind Of Sorrow,' 'All in,' and 'Gentlewoman.'
