A New Dawn

A New Dawn formed in Los Angeles with four members: Alice Blackwood on vocals, Jack Hawthorne on guitar, Ethan Lee on bass, and Mark Anderson on drums. They put out an album called 'Whispers of the Shadow Realm' in 2009.

Their song 'Black Lotus' from that album got some attention, though the band's sound didn't always fit neatly with what was popular at the time. They wrote moodier material like 'Descending' and 'Darkness Falls' that appealed to a specific audience rather than chasing mainstream approval.
