A Ordem de Amonet formed in São Paulo in the early 2000s, playing heavy metal that drew from bands like Iron Maiden and Metallica. The original lineup included vocalist and guitarist Igor "Iggor" Cançado, lead guitarist Ricardo "Rick" Ferrari, bassist Edgard "Edo" Fernandes, and drummer Leonardo "Leo" Garófalo. Edo left in 2008 and was replaced by bassist Marcus "Maza" Mazzucchi.
Their debut album "Santana das Almas" came out in 2009, earning some critical attention in Brazil's metal scene. They toured internationally, playing shows with acts like Arch Enemy and Children of Bodom. Rick Ferrari left the band in 2014.
In 2016 they released "Holandês Voador," which became a significant record for them. Other songs from that period include "Mortos Não Contam Histórias" and "Velas Negras."
