The universe dances

While we stumble on and on

Yearning, weeping, preaching

We've tried to cross over our cross

We have been part of a part of a whole

To which we have no touch at all

We chose not to listen the world's verse

We'd better decompose our own version

You'd rather stay in hebetude

I'll be long gone

Timesick, forlorn

Watching it through the door

Wasting it to the core

The universe dances

While we crawl under the floor

Frail deeds, wasting needs

We have been always beneath the top

When my desire speaks no more

I'll be gone, long gone

Preaching faults and fallacies

It's a way to believe thus to be

Unsound stanzas must be sung

Though a unique verse exists

Once we danced as one

Entwined, delighted

By pristine tunes we have lost

In hebetude, we ought to be

Thus peace means some

As long as no time in

But it turns lower and lower

Expectations to specters

Dancing around and around

On a flat field

Rolling, twisting, sliding

They sooth the mean in me
