A.18 formed in South Korea in 1992 with three vocalists: Kang Tae-hwan, Kim Jin-gon, and Lee Hyung-joo. Their debut album was called "The Beginning." They put out a second album, "Stay With Me," in 1994.
In 2000, the single "Build" became a major hit for them. Lee Hyung-joo left the group in 2002 to go solo, and A.18 continued as a duo. They released albums like "Back to the Future" in 2003 and "The 5th" in 2006.
