Aarni formed in Finland in 2011, with Ilkka Laitala handling lead vocals and guitar. Their first album, 'Harmaa,' came out the following year. They followed it with 'Marraskuu' in 2014 and 'Tulsa' in 2016. A 2019 release was simply called 'Untitled,' which is also the title of one of their songs.
The group includes Aino Kaasalainen on vocals and keyboards, Kimmo Pohjonen on accordion and vocals, Marko Ylianttila on bass and vocals, and Tero Bergman on drums and vocals. Their recorded work includes tracks like 'Akhera Goiti Akhera Beiti One Black Opalith For Tomorrow' and 'Coniuratio Sadoquae.'
