Aaron Goldberg

Aaron Goldberg is a jazz pianist from Boston who started playing in the early 2000s. He worked as a sideman for Joshua Redman, Wynton Marsalis, and Avishai Cohen before putting out his first album, 'Worlds,' in 2005. That record mixed jazz with classical and world music touches.

Goldberg's own albums include 'Home' from 2007 and 'Encore' from 2011, along with more recent releases like 'The Now' and 'At the Edge of the World.'

In 2018, composer Mark Sherman accused Goldberg of plagiarism, though Goldberg said any similarities were coincidental. He wrote a piece called 'Oam's Blues' for the Omer Avital Trio's 2005 album 'New Song,' which was meant as a tribute to Omer Avital's father.
