Trying to make it through

Day by day

And I just can’t stay

Bottled up inside myself

I suffered in my circled steps

For far too long I will never

Make the same mistakes again

It’s tearing at the seams

And I can’t take it

I’m giving up my hopes until I make it

On my own

You brought this all on yourself

Planning ahead has never been my strong suit

But if I was given the chance to try again

I would give it all I’ve got

I would make my time here worthwhile

I hate to say it but I told you so

This sinking feeling won’t go away

But somewhere along the line

I’ll find a place to mend my mind
