ABBA formed in 1972 with Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, and Benny Andersson. They won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with "Waterloo," which helped launch their international career. Their songs like "Dancing Queen" and "Mamma Mia" became global hits.
In 1976, they released "Grizzly" as a single from their album "Arrival." The ballad was written by Andersson and Ulvaeus. Other songs from their catalog include "Pearls In Her Hair" and "Černá Růže." They recorded several albums through the late 1970s and early 1980s, including "The Album" and "Super Trouper."
The band's members went through personal changes, with Ulvaeus and Fältskog separating and Andersson and Lyngstad divorcing. ABBA stopped recording together in 1982. Their music has been adapted into stage shows and films in later years.
