Their first single "I Don't Wanna Hear It" got them noticed across Brazil, and their debut album Tempo came out in 2003.
They kept putting out records every few years, like Beijo in 2005 and Samba Pras Minas in 2007, and later songs like "Meu Amor." Their sound shifted some over time, picking up bits of soul and reggae along the way. The lyrics often touched on love and social issues, and their live shows had a reputation for being pretty energetic.
They never really stopped working, putting out Um Novo Dia in 2019. The band's music stayed popular in Brazil, and you can hear their influence in some of the younger acts that came up after them.
