Peter Kubik, who performs as Silenius, has been the consistent member through various lineup changes that included musicians like Thomas Tannenberger (Rune) and Ivo Wohlmuth (Asmodeus). Their early years involved some legal and financial difficulties, but they managed to release their debut album 'Verwüstung' in 1994.
Songs like 'Kingdom Of Darkness' and 'I Face The Eternal Winter' reflect this dark, atmospheric style. They followed up with albums such as 'Opus IV', 'Nachthymnen', and 'Fractal Possession'.
In more recent times, Abigor has seen some renewed attention with compilations and occasional live performances. Silenius also works on solo material separately from the band.
