Abluesados formed in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 2004 with André Gomes on vocals and guitar, André Bauer on bass, and André Cardoso on drums. They started playing blues, a style that seemed to fit what they were trying to say.
Their first album came out in 2010, called "Formato." The title track got some attention, a slow song about love not working out. They kept putting out records after that, like "Bluesgrass" in 2012 and "No Blues No Choro" in 2015.
Some of their lyrics have drawn criticism for being too direct about certain subjects. The band has said they're just writing about things they've seen or felt. Another song people know is "Horas Erradas."
