Aborto de Unicórnio formed in 2019 with Amanda "Xéna" Veloso on vocals and guitar, Felipe "Head" Rangel on drums, Eduardo "Edu" Rodrigues on guitar, and Pedro "Peteca" Fonseca on bass. They released their first EP, Eu Não Sei o Que Fazer, in 2020, followed by O Fim do Mundo in 2022 and a self-titled full-length album in 2023.
Their song "Eu Não Sei o Que Fazer" became a viral hit for its raw depiction of young adulthood. The band's lyrics often explore taboo subjects with unapologetic language, which has drawn both praise and criticism.
Their 2023 self-titled album received attention for its eclectic mix of punk, pop, and samba influences. Another track, "Mas Amor," appears among their most popular songs.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
