Aborym is an extreme metal band fronted by Seth Siro Anton. Their sound mixes black metal with industrial and electronic elements, which you can hear on tracks like 'Chernobyl Generation' and 'Face The Reptile.' They've been putting out albums since 1999's 'Kali Yuga Bizarre,' and their lineup has changed over time, with Alex Harbinger, Paolo Pieri, and Davide Tiso currently playing alongside Anton.
In 2003, they ran into some trouble with their album 'Fire Walk With Us.' The cover art was inspired by David Lynch's film 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me,' and Lynch threatened legal action over copyright. The band had to pull the album and redesign the cover. Their lyrics have also drawn criticism for being explicit and disturbing, though they've said they're meant to reflect harsh realities.
They've kept experimenting across records like 'With No Human Intervention' in 2006 and 'III' in 2012, adding more noise and electronics. Their most recent album came out in 2020, called 'The Day the Sun Stopped Shining.'
