Acca formed in 2004 when friends Ricardo Ernesto and Bruno Gouveia started playing music together. They began as a band called Acústica before shortening the name to Acca. Their debut album 'Entre o Céu e o Inferno' came out in 2007.
That first album included 'A Busca Pela Felicidade,' the song that became their most recognized work. They followed it with other albums like 'Sonhos e Pesadelos' in 2010 and 'Enquanto o Mundo Gira' in 2013. Their catalog also includes songs like 'Andanças,' 'Andarilho,' and 'Cantiga Pro Mar.'
The band's lineup included Ricardo Ernesto and Bruno Gouveia on vocals and guitar, along with Marcelo Loureiro on bass, Maurício Sacramento on drums, and Ricardo Costa on keyboards. They released music through 2019 with 'Além do Horizonte.'
