Aceyalone is the stage name of Michael Davis, a rapper who came up in Los Angeles during the 1990s. He's best known for his intricate wordplay and for being a central member of the experimental hip-hop group The Freestyle Fellowship, alongside Myka 9, Self Jupiter, and P.E.A.C.E. His solo work often explores themes of spirituality and personal growth, which set him apart from more mainstream rap of the time.

His discography includes solo albums like 'All Balls Don't Bounce' from 2001 and 'Accepted Eclectic' from 2003. Songs like 'Accepted Eclectic' and 'Golden Mic' showcase his dense, thoughtful lyrical style. He has also collaborated with other artists, including Madlib and DJ Shadow.
