Across the Atlantic formed in London around the mid-2000s with Amy Campbell on vocals, Tom Powell on guitar, Sam Hazeldine on bass, and Ben Long on drums. Their debut single '24 Hours' came out in 2007. They followed it with albums like 'The Weight of the World' in 2010 and 'The Edge of Reason' in 2014, before releasing 'Field of Dreams' in 2017.
Their songs include 'Chin Up' and 'Playing For Keeps'. The band's second album, 'The Heights', was well-received by critics but didn't match the commercial reach of their first release.
Campbell handled most of the writing and singing. Powell's guitar work added melodic layers to tracks like 'Sundress Funeral' and 'Word Of Mouth'.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
