Adal Ramones was a Mexican rock band that formed in the early 1990s. Their song 'Despeinada' became a major hit in 1991, helping propel their debut album 'Vas a Volverte Loca' to success. The band's lineup included vocalist Adal Ramones, guitarist Carlos Murray, bassist Juan Carlos Casasola, and drummer Jorge 'El Burro' Van Rankin.
They released several albums through the 1990s, including 'Orale' in 1993 and 'La Chabela' in 1995. Their music often mixed pop and rock with traditional Mexican elements, and they recorded collaborations like 'Algo Más' with La Quinta Estación and 'Cacahuate Garapiñado' with Ricardo Arjona.
In 1995, guitarist Carlos Murray died in a car accident. Jorge Van Rankin took over lead guitar duties, and the band continued until disbanding in 1999. Their song 'Despeinada' remained popular long after they stopped recording together.
