Aditya Narayan grew up around music as the son of Bollywood playback singer Udit Narayan. He started performing with his father early on and put out his first solo album when he was thirteen. That was in 1995, and the album was simply called "Aditya."
A decade later, he had a breakthrough with the song "Tattad Tattad" from the film 'Ashiq Banaya Aapne.' The track's energy and his delivery connected with listeners, leading to more film work. He also sang on songs like "Ishqyaun Dhishkyaun."
His career hasn't been without friction. In 2007, there were claims that the melody for "Tattad Tattad" was lifted from an older Tamil song, which stirred a plagiarism debate. Later, in 2013, some public remarks he made about the #MeToo movement drew criticism, though he later apologized for them.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
