Soon all of town will be gone

The lights are switched off one by one

I stand in the comfort of the night and realize

there are no more hills to climb

I sing to myself forgotten songs from yesterday

and as the rain starts to fall I start to walk...

...through empty streets back home

Roads we know cuz we walked them a thousand times before

All alone through the nights in search of something new

It helps the tension to subside
