Adler was an American heavy metal band that formed in the late 1980s. Their debut album came out in 1989, followed by 'Back for the Attack' in 1992 and 'Bulletproof' in 1993. The original lineup included Stephen Adler on drums, Izzy Stradlin on rhythm guitar, Slash on lead guitar, and Duff McKagan on bass, with Gilby Clarke later replacing Stradlin.
Their song 'Good To Be Bad' became their most recognizable track, appearing on the 'Back for the Attack' album. Other songs like 'Another Version Of The Truth,' 'Back From the Dead,' 'Own Worst Enemy,' and 'The One That You Hated' rounded out their catalog.
The band broke up in 1995 but reunited briefly in 2006. Their music stayed within the heavy metal style popular at the time, with straightforward guitar work and Stephen Adler's vocals carrying most of their material.
