Adrian CH came to wider attention in 2005 as a finalist on the Mexican reality singing competition 'La Academia.' He was born in Mexico City and grew up listening to artists like Juan Gabriel and José José. His debut album, simply titled 'Adrian CH,' came out after the show and included both ballads and pop tracks.
His song 'Amor' became particularly well-known. Other tracks like 'Esperándote' and 'Me Conquistaste' followed a similar romantic style. He has released other albums including 'Amor Que Duele' and 'Contigo o Sin Ti.'
In 2016, there was a legal dispute over the authorship of one of his songs. He has also been involved in advocacy work on social issues.
