Adrian Gurvitz started playing music with his brother Paul in the late 1960s, forming the band The Gun. Their first album was simply called 'Gun.' He left the group in 1973 and put out a solo record the next year. That 1974 album included the song 'Classic,' which got a lot of radio play and became his best-known track.
He kept making albums through the 1970s and 1980s and worked with other musicians like Pete Townshend and Ronnie Lane. There was a stretch in the late '80s when he wasn't as active, but he eventually returned to recording and performing.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
