Adriano Jacques is a Brazilian Christian singer who started performing in local churches around São Paulo. His 2007 debut album 'Elevo Os Meus Olhos' included the title track that became popular in Christian music circles.
He released several more albums over the following decade, including 'Seja Real' in 2009, 'Transforma-me' in 2012, and 'Um Novo Tempo' in 2015. Songs like 'Lugar Secreto' and 'No Mais Profundo Lugar' appear among his most recognized work.
In 2012, Jacques faced plagiarism allegations that led to a temporary suspension from his record label. He denied the claims and continued releasing music, putting out 'Nosso Lugar' in 2018.
