Adriano Monteiro is a Portuguese singer-songwriter from Lisbon. He put out a song called "Ana Rita" in 2001, which became a national hit. His other songs include "Depois do carnaval" and "Gurias do Bonfim."
Some critics found his lyrics too dark or introspective, but he kept writing about love and loss anyway. He didn't seem to change his style much in response to that.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
