Adventure Club formed in 2011 as a duo of Canadian producers, Christian Srigley and Leighton James. They put out their first album 'Red // Blue' the following year, which included 'Rise and Fall,' a track that got a notable remix from Krewella. Their sound pulled from different corners of electronic music, landing somewhere between progressive house and dubstep.
They've worked with a few other artists over time, like Delaney Jane on 'Limitless' and The Kite String Tangle on 'Wonder.' In 2015, Leighton James stepped away from the project for a while to deal with some personal matters, leaving Srigley to handle things solo. They've kept putting out EPs and albums since, including 'Calling All Heroes' in 2019 and 'Heartbeat' in 2020.
You can still catch them playing festivals and touring. Their catalog has a handful of tracks that stuck around, like 'Here' and 'Dreams,' which fit right into that melodic, vocal-driven electronic space they helped define earlier in the 2010s.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
