AeG formed in Florianópolis in 2011, starting as a trio with Rafael Malenotti on vocals and guitar, Carol Biazin on bass, and Junior Duarte on drums. Their first album, named after the song 'Deixo,' came out in 2013 and got them noticed in Brazil.
They followed up with 'A História Continua...' in 2015, which did well commercially and with critics. Later albums like 'Um Novo Tempo' and 'O Que Diz o Coração' kept them active through the rest of the decade. In 2019, Biazin left to work solo and was replaced by Lucas Silveira.
Songs like 'Menino Viajante' and 'Todo Mundo Vai' show their mix of alternative rock with pop and folk touches. They've had their share of public attention, including some plagiarism accusations in 2018 that they denied.
